* I didn't make it beyond the first 20 pages.
** I made it to the end, but I either skimmed or skipped large sections.
*** I might have skipped/skimmed, but I liked it and might read it again.
**** I read at least 95% of the book and it was good -- probably will be reread.
***** I read every word, and I loved it! A favorite and definite reread.
This year, I'm only going to list the stars and a brief recommendation for the type of readers I think will enjoy the book [(R) means it's a re-read; * means it's an ARC].

All Kinds of Tied Down, by Mary Calmes -- highly recommended for lovers of male/male romance and cop drama -- Dreamspinner Press, 7/14
The One, by Kiera Cass -- recommended for those who like the trilogy and those who enjoy a Bachelor-type scenario in novel form -- Harper Teen, 5/14
Riding Tall, by Kate Sherwood -- highly recommended for those who enjoy male/male romance and tenderhearted (especially where kids are concerned) heroes -- Dreampspinner Press, 2/14
My Life with the Walter Boys, by Ali Novak -- recommended for those who enjoy kind of a distant look at grief, with a closer look at teen crushes and relationships -- Sourcebooks Fire, 3/14
On Deck: I read through 2/3rds of my TBR pile yesterday, just trying to pinpoint which I actually wanted to read...so now I have three high-interest books and six medium-interest on my radar. :)
