Book Reports and a Reader Call?...

I'm almost done with the revamped story of Nore (now Aria) -- it's exciting and scary all at once. Did I do enough? Did I make it fantastical enough? Is the mythology accurate and yet unique? Whew...anyway, I have one reader already (thank you, B) -- if anyone else is interested, I'd love more eyes, BUT...

Yes, I know, it's hard when I finish books too darn fast :) So if you all have more on your plates than you can handle already, or even if you're just thinking, "No way do I want to read another book right now" -- that's okay :). I feel very fortunate to have so many of you who've read and critiqued so much of my stuff...I'm blessed! So I put this out there just in case someone is dying to wade through another ms, hehe. For the rest, I simply say, "Thanks -- thanks for all the times you have helped, and thanks for the support you so freely offere on a daily basis!"

On to the book reports:
For those of you who happened to Google your title and ended up here, please know that one star is not a bad thing in Robin's world -- just the fact the I picked up your book and started it means that somewhere it's getting good buzz (or that your blurb was really cool). 'R' means it's a re-read.

* I didn't make it beyond the first 20 pages.
** I made it to the end, but I either skimmed or skipped large sections.
*** I might have skipped/skimmed, but I liked it and will read it again.
**** I read at least 95% of the book and it was good.
***** I read every word, and I loved it!

Something to Blog About, by Shana Norris *** This was cute. I can definitely see where the format will draw in many teen readers, and the main character was fun to know.

shift, by Jennifer Bradbury ***** I LOVED this!!! Definitely a strong rec from me for anyone -- it's another I will buy (as soon as I have the money, hehe). Male MC, mystery, slight romance,'s just a great, well-written book.

Found, by Margaret Peterson Haddix **** This was pretty darn good too, though it ended rather abruptly, imo. Now I can't wait for the next book, which I'm sure is the intention. She certainly left many things unresolved.

fragments, by Jeffry Johnston *** This was an okay story. A little grittier than I typically choose, but I liked the mystery element -- another male MC.

Bewitching Season, by Marissa Doyle **** Very enjoyable tale. I'm looking forward to her next book, which I assume will be about Pen -- but this was good, and I had fun reading it :) Nice romance too!
