Almost Monday...

I'm going to post tonight, because DH is having computer problems -- which means he'll be on my computer in the morning (and I won't -- *sob*). He accidentally started a system recovery (yeah, oops), and when we interrupted it before he could overwrite all his files, something broke. We're not sure what, and we're hoping it can be easily fixed (ha)...but till then, we're sharing. (Yeah, lucky me.)

The good news is I got all my crits done, along with my online work. So when I do get to come on tomorrow, I'll get to play (meaning LJ and Verla's) with no guilt. Yay!

The kids loved their parties, though D said during the first one, "There are too many girls here." Well, yeah, it was for a girl (his friend O, whom he met when they were in pre-school together three years ago).

I know the ice is making news all over right now...FYI, it's -4 degrees here, right now.

I'm making a list of all the books I've bought this year -- I'll probably add to it as I remember more. These are only those I've bought for myself:

THE SQUAD (both books), by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE, by Jeaniene Frost
COVER OF NIGHT, by Linda Howard
DEATH MATCH and UTOPIA by Lincoln Child
EMPIRE, by Orson Scott Card
CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY, by Ally Carter
AUSTENLAND, by Shannon Hale
LAMENT, by Maggie Steifvater
THE BERMUDEZ TRIANGLE, by Maureen Johnson
I HEART YOU, YOU HAUNT ME, by Lisa Schroeder

Hm...considering that I have about six on the list to buy from this year -- and about a dozen more which are coming out next year that I want to buy...well, the book business will be doing well from me, right? :)

Here's to a great week before The Holidays for all of us :D
