Book Reports (21-25) ...

Because I've had trouble keeping up with my reading, I'm going to change my book report style a bit. Now I'm aiming to write reviews on Goodreads and simply post the link here. But I'm also going to change my star system:

* = Just not for me
** = Interesting premise but not engaging enough to complete
*** = Okay; didn't love but liked enough to finish (or at least skim)
**** = Good; liked the writing style and/or the plot enough to stick with it
***** = Loved; will definitely keep and/or re-read

Stacking the Deck, by Charlie Cochet -- m/m romantic mystery -- Jack has had a 'crush' on Fitz for a couple of years, but Fitz was in no position to start a relationship until recently; now, though, someone is doing his best to undermine Jack professionally and personally, and Fitz gets caught in the crossfire.

Raising the Ante, by Charlie Cochet -- m/m romantic mystery -- Frank believes someone is out to destroy his business, and Josh decides to help him out and finally express his feelings.

The Note, by May Archer -- m/m romance -- Tyler is the best man at the wedding for his sister as she marries the supposed love of his life, all based on a note Tyler got at 18.

Closet Case, by K.M. Neuhold -- m/m romance -- Jax and Matthew are attracted to each other, but Jax doesn't date closet cases, and Matthew believes he can never play pro football if he comes out.

Borrowing Blue, by Lucy Lennox -- m/m romance -- Blue and Tristan meet in the bar of a winery when Blue is bemoaning his ex's presence (with a plus one) at his sister's wedding, and Tristan comforts him and then agrees to pretend to be his boyfriend.
