Book Reports (134-137)...

For those of you who happened to Google your title and ended up here, please know that one star is not a bad thing in Robin's world -- just the fact the I picked up your book and started it means that somewhere it's getting good buzz (or that your blurb was really cool). 'R' means it's a re-read.

* I didn't make it beyond the first 20 pages.
** I made it to the end, but I either skimmed or skipped large sections.
*** I might have skipped/skimmed, but I liked it and might read it again.
**** I read at least 95% of the book and it was good -- definitely will be reread.
***** I read every word, and I loved it! A favorite!

Love at First Click, by Elizabeth Chandler *** This seemed familiar -- and it ended very abruptly (which I don't like). It's okay, but not outstanding to me.

Zoe & Chloe on the Prowl, by Sue Limb * Sometimes when I read books by British authors, the use of British-isms and the setting are foreign enough that I can't get into it -- this was like that. Not the book's fault, by any means, just not for me. Council of Evil, by Andy Briggs ***+ I found this very interesting -- I guess it's the second book, with the first being -- intriguing concept and good boy book, I think.

Funny How Things Change, by Melissa Wyatt **** I enjoyed this quite a bit. The MC is a boy, but he's a thoughtful character, and I like his POV and his world.
